About Sheon
Sheon is an independent editorial publication exploring thoughtful living through literature, poetry, art, and culture. We create essays, reflections, poetry, book conversations, visual storytelling, and editorial content that encourages people to slow down, notice the world around them, and reconnect with everyday beauty.
We're looking for someone who understands that social media can be more than marketing; it can be an extension of a magazine's voice.
What you'll do:
Create Instagram content, including posts, carousels, and Reels. Transform articles, poems, and editorial ideas into engaging social media content. Brainstorm content ideas that reflect Sheon's identity and editorial vision. Research literary, artistic, and cultural inspiration. Collaborate closely with the Founder & Editor-in-Chief. Submit content for editorial review before publication.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Loves literature, poetry, art, and thoughtful storytelling. Has a strong eye for editorial aesthetics. Enjoys creating meaningful content rather than following trends. Is comfortable using Canva or similar design tools. Communicates confidently in English. Is reliable, creative, and open to feedback.
What you'll receive:
Hands-on experience working with an independent editorial publication. A published portfolio of editorial social media work. Mentorship and editorial feedback. A LinkedIn recommendation upon successful collaboration.
