As the Manager, Enterprise Business Systems, you will contribute to Laura's success by providing strategic leadership for our enterprise business systems portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, you will be responsible for the overall health, governance, lifecycle, and long-term evolution of the organization's operational applications, ensuring they continue to support business growth while enabling operational excellence. Working closely with business leaders, Engineering, Infrastructure, PMO, Data & Analytics, Innovation, and external partners, you will develop technology roadmaps, guide modernization initiatives, and ensure our enterprise applications continue to evolve as an integrated business capability. You will act as the steward of the organization's enterprise application portfolio, partnering with business and technology teams to ensure our systems remain reliable, modern, scalable, and aligned with the organization's evolving business needs and long-term technology strategy. How will you support the team? Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for the organization's enterprise application portfolio, balancing operational stability with continuous improvement and long-term modernization. Act as the strategic technology advisor to business leaders, translating business priorities into enterprise application strategies, technology roadmaps, and modernization initiatives. Own the lifecycle, health, governance, and long-term strategy of the enterprise application portfolio, including ERP, Warehouse Management, Planning, Financial, HRIS, Sales Audit, and other operational business systems. Develop multi-year upgrade, modernization, and replatforming roadmaps aligned with business priorities and enterprise technology strategy. Develop annual operating and capital investment plans, including software licensing, maintenance, professional services, and implementation budgets. Ensure enterprise applications are appropriately supported by defining operational support strategies, including the use of internal resources, implementation partners, managed services, and software vendors. Lead business systems discovery activities, facilitate analysis and solution definition, and support software evaluations, RFP development, and vendor selection initiatives. Recommend implementation strategies, solution approaches, and technology investments that deliver long-term business value while minimizing operational risk. Partner with the PMO to develop implementation roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and ensure enterprise application initiatives are sufficiently defined and ready to progress through the organization's SDLC and stage-gate governance model. Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, Data & Analytics, and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure enterprise applications, integrations, and business processes operate as a cohesive, secure, and scalable ecosystem. Develop strategic relationships with software vendors and implementation partners, ensuring solutions continue to deliver value and align with business objectives. Build business cases, evaluate technology investments, and provide recommendations to executive leadership regarding upgrades, replacements, modernization initiatives, and long-term technology strategy. Monitor the overall health and performance of the enterprise application portfolio, identifying opportunities to improve reliability, supportability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing Enterprise Business Systems team while establishing best practices for analysis, solution design, governance, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive experience leading enterprise business systems within a retail, manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment. Demonstrated experience owning the strategy, governance, and lifecycle of enterprise business applications. Proven success leading ERP implementations, enterprise software upgrades, cloud migrations, or large-scale platform modernization initiatives. Experience developing technology roadmaps, business cases, investment strategies, operating budgets, and multi-year modernization plans. Experience participating in business requirements discovery, software evaluations, RFP processes, vendor selection, and implementation planning. Strong understanding of enterprise application ecosystems, including ERP, Warehouse Management, Financial Systems, HRIS, Planning, Sales Audit, enterprise integrations, and operational business processes. Experience managing software vendors, implementation partners, software licensing, maintenance agreements, and professional services. Demonstrated leadership experience building and developing enterprise application teams. Strong business acumen with the ability to translate operational priorities into technology strategy and executable roadmaps. Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance operational priorities with long-term strategic investments. Experience working within structured project delivery methodologies and collaborating with PMOs, cross-functional technology teams, and business stakeholders.
