Job Description Atlas Structural Systems is a manufacturer specializing in the design and manufacture of pre-engineered structural systems for commercial and residential construction projects in Eastern Canada and the US. Our integrated roof, wall, and floor systems offer proven quality and deliver value to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure safe, accurate, and on-time material flow.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound loads, including unloading and loading trucks using a forklift.
- Perform quality control checks on receiving and outbound shipments.
- Assign work and support team members to meet daily production targets.
- Communicate with plant locations using email, Microsoft Teams or phone.
- Maintain shipping and receiving schedules and required documentation.
- Prepare and lead the morning huddle.
Qualifications
- Comfortable working in outdoor or variable weather conditions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is considered an asset.
