About the role
TVO Media Education Group (TVO) is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to guide the organization into its next chapter of innovation, impact, and growth. As Ontario’s trusted educational media agency, TVO plays a vital role in shaping how people learn, engage with current affairs, and connect with their communities. The ideal candidate for the role of CEO at TVO is a visionary, purpose-driven leader with a deep commitment to education and ensuring opportunity for all Ontarians (those born here, those recently arrived, and those are considering making their homes here). They bring a unique blend of strategic insight, digital fluency, and commercial acumen, paired with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style. This individual understands the evolving media landscape and is passionate about using technology and storytelling to empower learners, engage communities, and expand TVO’s reach across Ontario. With a strong sense of humility and curiosity, they will embrace the opportunity to learn TVO’s mission, culture, and stakeholder ecosystem, and lead the organization into its next chapter of innovation and impact.
