YOUR ROLE
We are currently looking for a Pricing Associate (12 Month Contract) to join our team. This role has a flexible work arrangement. We require 1 day a month where the Calgary area team members attend the Calgary office together. The Pricing Associate is responsible for efficient and accurate administration of prospect quotes, alternative quotes, maintaining advisor records and creation of scheduled or on-demand statistical and summary reporting.
WHAT TO EXPECT
In the first 90 days you will:
- Prepare quote intake and produce a new prospect quotes to proposal with peer review
- Maintain partner records in CRM
- Prepare on-demand and scheduled reporting
- Manage the Pricing general email box and CRM dashboard
- Suggest ways to improve and simplify the processes
YOUR IMPACT
- Review for required information and identify inconsistencies or inaccuracies in client census, plan design, rate history and experience in order to produce quotes
- Create prospect and alternative quotes by entering into applicable software or underwriting arrangements for pricing by the RVP/BDM’s while accurately adhering to all carrier underwriting guidelines
- Maintain partner records on the CRM system
- Create scheduled and on-demand summary and statistical reporting for advisors, clients, carriers and internal stakeholders
- Manage the pricing general email and maintain the shared CRM dashboard
- Accurately track correspondence and work items in a timely manner
- Prepare an accurate sold quote before hand-off to the New Business department for setup

- Above average analytical skills
- Strong oral, listening and written communication skills
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities in an environment of continuous change
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines while adhering to departmental standards
- Ability to work within a setting that is collaborative amongst the team members to meet our daily deadlines ie: what you start you may not be the one to finish
- Self-motivated and results oriented. Demonstrate good judgement with the ability to accomplish tasks expediently and with minimal supervision
THIS IS NICE
- Experience in group benefits or administrative related field is an asset
- Completion of post-secondary education in mathematics or statistics is an asset

YOUR COMPENSATION
At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary for this position is $45,000-50,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass our comprehensive total rewards, benefits, and potential bonuses that we proudly offer.
