Web Development and Digital Experience Manager

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Web Development and Digital Experience Manager to oversee and evolve our global network of B2B and B2C digital platforms, including corporate, sales, brand, title-specific, and client-facing experiences. This role is responsible for ensuring our external digital footprint is cohesive, on-brand, high-performing, and technically sound - while delivering seamless, UX-first experiences for a wide range of end users, from buyers and partners to audiences and fans.

The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of website strategy, UX thinking, CMS and WordPress expertise, analytics, SEO, and digital marketing support, and thrives at the intersection of brand, marketing, and technology. This role plays a critical part in unifying our digital experience externally, supporting both content discovery and commercial objectives, while enabling marketing, sales, and business teams to work smarter and more efficiently.

This is a new role that will report to the VP, Marketing, Studios, Rights and Corporate and is a hybrid position requiring in-office attendance at our head office in Toronto for a minimum of three (3) days per week.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 per year, with final compensation determined by experience and qualifications.

  • Own the end-to-end strategy and management of Blue Ant’s digital properties, including corporate, brand, title-specific websites and key platforms such as the screening portal, ensuring best-in-class design, functionality, performance, accessibility, and security
  • Lead digital experiences across B2B and B2C platforms, including corporate sites, sales, microsites and screening platforms, and consumer-facing sites for content discovery, marketing, and ticketed experiences - always prioritizing clarity, usability, and conversion
  • Oversee and continuously optimize the screening portal experience, managing updates, UX improvements, content organization, and performance to ensure an intuitive and effective experience for clients and partners + maintaining and inputting metadata for all titles in the screening portal
  • Own Google Account Manager access, permissions, and integrations, and manage Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and insights
  • Own Typeform forms and surveys, including integrations, data integrity, and reporting
  • Act as liaison for monetized video player management (STN), supporting implementation, performance tracking, and optimization
  • Manage relationships with external development and technology partners, ensuring quality delivery, cost control, and clearly defined technical requirements
  • Continuously evaluate, optimize, and evolve the tools, platforms, and workflows used by internal teams, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Explore and implement AI-powered and automation-driven solutions to streamline website development, content publishing, analytics, and digital experience optimization, ensuring scalable and future-ready practices
  • Identify emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in digital experience and web development, translating them into practical improvements across platforms
  • Ensure all digital properties follow web security, privacy, and accessibility best practices and standards

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of UX, SEO, analytics, CRO, and digital performance optimization
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress and website publishing workflows
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, email marketing platforms, and form tools
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across creative, marketing, sales, and technical teams
  • Comfort managing external vendors and translating business objectives into clear technical execution
