About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Review Manager to lead our Intelligent Document Review projects with the key goal of aligning strategic and technical aspects of document review. The Review Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of specific review projects consistent with client instruction and guidance, as well as approved timelines and budget. As a client-facing role, the Review Manager works collaboratively with external stakeholders to define requirements, anticipate needs and/or challenges, and provide exceptional service and results. The Review Manager will work closely with the broader operations team to ensure that review workflows maximize use of advanced technologies to achieve elevated levels of efficiencies. The Review Manager oversees a team of contract reviewers on each assigned review project and establishes trusted relationships with Array’s legal and corporate clients and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Serve as point of contact for clients and related third parties during review projects.

Manage client expectations regarding deliverables and review timeframes.

Review and consult with clients on review coding protocols and substantive review memoranda
-
Coordinate with internal and external case management teams to leverage the appropriate technology to improve efficiency and accuracy and to implement workflows including the use and application of structured and advanced analytics tools, where applicable.

Oversee quality control measures and quality assurance best practices, including mentoring the quality control team on the use of statistical sampling, advanced searching techniques, and application of custom scripts, where applicable.

Communicate and document substantive questions and answers to both the client and review teams.

Monitor and report daily on overall progress to both internal and client teams.

Lead and motivate review team members, ensuring regular feedback on work product is provided and any clarifications required to substantive instructions are recorded and communicated to the team.

Identify and mentor team leads and quality control team members from the broader team of contract reviewers.

Provide regular updating and reporting to support the accurate forecasting of financials.

Actively contribute to continuous workflow and process improvement.

Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities to enhance results.

Work cross-functionally with operations and service delivery teams to optimize client experiences and drive successful outcomes.
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications)

LL.B. or J.D. and member in good standing of a Canadian law society.
-
Minimum 3 years of document review experience for a law firm or managed review vendor, with a minimum 1 year in a managerial capacity.

Demonstrated experience in the following:
- executing on documents review workflows and best practice
- administration of Relativity workspaces (e.g. batches, layouts, STRs, views)
- supporting internal and contract review team members, including providing ongoing feedback, guidance, and mentorship
- communicating with both internal and external stakeholders and providing regular reporting to clients
- and monitoring review budget.

Certifications in Relativity, CEDS, and/or other industry accreditations are considered an asset.

Proficiency in CRM and Service Management Applications (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Agility Blue) are considered an asset

Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel and the use of formulas, charts, and pivot tables.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated understanding of the EDRM, specifically the concepts and principles of management, processing, review, analysis, and production of ESI as they relate to legal and related matters.
- Experience with the use and application of both structural and conceptual analytics tools within a review workflow framework.
- Strong business acumen with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent issue-spotting and problem-solving skills.
