Brand Manager – Consumer Products & Retail Marketing

North York/Scarborough, ON | Full-Time | On-Site (5 Days/Week)

Are you a Brand Manager who enjoys bringing products to market, partnering with retailers, and driving brand growth from concept to commercialization?

Our client, a well-established Canadian consumer products manufacturer with a strong retail presence across Canada, is looking for a Brand Manager to join their Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in product launches, retail marketing initiatives, and go-to-market execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Sales, Product Development, Finance, Operations, and Creative.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and wants broad exposure across the full product lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

Develop and execute annual Canadian brand plans aligned with business objectives. Lead go-to-market execution for new product launches and product line extensions. Adapt global product innovation and marketing programs for the Canadian market. Develop retailer-focused marketing strategies and sales enablement materials. Create sell-in presentations, merchandising tools, point-of-sale materials, and product training resources. Partner closely with the Sales team to support customer presentations and retail initiatives. Collaborate with Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Creative teams throughout commercialization. Support product lifecycle management and portfolio planning. Analyze sales performance, consumer insights, competitive activity, and market trends to identify growth opportunities. Ensure consistent brand execution across retail, digital, and consumer touchpoints. Manage external agency relationships and support creative campaign execution.

What We're Looking For

Approximately 4–6 years of Brand Management, Product Marketing, or Product Management experience. Experience within consumer products, manufacturing, or consumer durables. Proven success leading product launches and commercialization initiatives. Strong understanding of retail marketing, customer marketing, and sales enablement. Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product Development, Operations, Finance, and Marketing. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret sales and market performance data. Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills. Experience managing external agencies is considered an asset.

Non-Negotiables

Brand Management experience within manufacturing or consumer products. Experience leading product launches and go-to-market execution. Strong retailer-facing marketing and sales support experience. Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. Positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach. Strong ownership, accountability, and initiative. Comfortable working on-site five days per week. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
