Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network solutions including LAN, WAN, and cloud connectivity.
- Support network architecture for unified communications and contact center environments.
- Lead or participate in migration initiatives involving cloud-based networking and telephony (e.g., UCaaS, CCaaS).
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, or equivalent).
- Design and manage SIP trunking, call routing, and voice infrastructure.
- Conduct root cause analysis, performance tuning, and ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless network integration.
- Prepare design and support documentation including low-level design (LLD) and change management procedures.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering or telecom infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN).
- Experience with SIP trunking, call routing, and unified communication platforms.
- Expertise in firewall administration (Cisco, Fortinet, or similar).
- Experience with cloud networking and integration (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Familiarity with data centre technologies such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for large-scale environments.
Additional Consideration Given To
- Experience with Oracle or similar Session Border Controllers (SBC).
- Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell) for provisioning and monitoring.
- Exposure to CCaaS or UCaaS solutions such as Genesys, Webex, or NICE.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or Fortinet NSE are strong assets.
