Job Summary

The Retail merchandising Analyst is responsible for assisting the marketing department in various administrative duties such as, creating and maintaining marketing Price/Cost spreadsheets, order management, creating plan –o-grams and customer service support for products and handheld connectivity. Critical skills include time management, technological proficiency, knowledge of basic business software and database knowledge.

Essential Job Functions *

• Assist the Retail Sales team with basic administrative tasks such as preparing and maintaining various reports including pricing / costing spreadsheets and creating, updating, and maintaining planograms using JDA software.
• Managing customer orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Provides technical support via phone and email with issues relating to product and handheld connections.
• Provides customer service support by preparing information, managing data and producing required documents.
• Daily communications with Field Teams and Supervisors, informing and updating the team regularly to guarantee sales and client objectives are being met.
• Creating, updating, and maintaining product databases using Excel.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Support and follow internal health and safety programs and protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree (emphasis on sales, marketing, or business administration) or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience relevant experience.

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of technology related to handheld, phone and connectivity issues is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of business software, specifically MS Office Suite (Proficient in Excel).
• Working knowledge of JDA Software is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Adobe Master Suite and Corel Draw.
• Basic web design knowledge.
• Database knowledge.

The target salary for this role is around $55k to $65k.
