##Job Description Summary

Are you interested in joining a creative and highly motivated team? We are looking for an experienced Senior Associate, Social Media to join the Marketing Department at STEMCELL Technologies. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Social Media team to develop, execute, and optimize STEMCELL’s global social media program.

As a social media expert, you will contribute to both organic and paid social media initiatives, with each team member bringing a primary area of specialization—either content and community or paid media and analytics—while working together to ensure shared ownership, continuity, and balanced workload across the program.

You will partner closely with a range of internal content contributors and subject matter experts to shape STEMCELL’s social media presence by creating original content; adapting and amplifying content developed by other teams; and ensuring a cohesive, on-brand voice across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Threads, Facebook, and YouTube.

Please note we are expecting to make two hires from this posting to support the aforementioned areas of specialization.

##Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively manage, execute, and optimize STEMCELL’s social media presence across organic and paid channels and platforms, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives
  • Plan, create, adapt, schedule, and publish social media content in partnership with internal content creators, scientific teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, while analyzing and reporting on performance and translating data into actionable recommendations
  • Manage community engagement, monitor conversations and sentiment, and develop and maintain social listening strategies to monitor brand sentiment, audience behavior, and industry trends (with the understanding of responding or escalating as appropriate)
  • Contribute to integrated Marketing campaigns as a social media subject matter expert, advising partners on content, platforms, and best practices
  • Support, execute, and evolve influencer and employee advocacy initiatives, including working with external creators and enabling internal teams to participate effectively on social media

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Minimum BSc and 2–6 years, or MSc with less than 4 years of relevant experience in scientific communications or marketing; research experience preferred
  • Experience in social media marketing with strength in either organic content and community management or paid media and analytics
  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices across organic and paid environments with strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate scientific concepts for social media audiences
  • Experience with social media and/or paid media tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager)
  • Experience in life sciences, biotech, or scientific marketing/communications is strongly preferred

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

$71,200.00 - $96,400.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
