Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Destination Sales Specialist located in Burlington, ON, with some work from home acceptable. The Destination Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting Burlington as a premier destination for business and tourism. Daily tasks include developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, coordinating events and activities, conducting market research, and providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service skills
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
- Relationship management and networking skills
- Event planning and coordination experience
- Strong analytical and market research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience in the tourism or hospitality industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred
