What Opportunity Awaits? As we continue to grow, Libro is on a mission to find a passionately accountable full-time Manager, Home Financing supporting our London Administration office .
The Manager, Home Financing at Libro Credit Union drives growth and develops strategies to achieve Libro’s long-term goals for personal mortgages and home financing. Achieving growth in this area aligned to Libro’s portfolio expectations, strategy, target markets, and risk appetite is essential to the long-term success of the organization and a well-diversified, profitable, and balanced portfolio.
Develop and execute growth strategies, foster industry partnerships, and lead training initiatives to support a high-performing Home Financing team. Provide strategic leadership to drive profitable growth, exceptional Owner experiences, and explore new opportunities in channels, products, pricing, and structure to evolve Libro’s Home Financing strategy.
This position requires a strong blend of leadership skills, financial expertise, and the ability to collaborate with both internal and third-party partners to ensure the best-in-class home financing experience for our Owners.

The Successful Candidate Will
- Provide support and leadership for the Home Financing Advisor team in the development of actionable sales plans, Owner service standards, and development of home financing programs, promotion, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with HFAs to develop and execute individual and team sales and business development plans.
- Drive team referrals to wealth and business banking segments.
- Develop relationships within the residential home industry to drive net new owner and mortgage growth.
- Highly effective change leader with the ability to create and communicate a compelling vision for the Home Financing Advisor Team.
- Lead the development of growth strategies and tactics aligned with Libro’s market objectives that translates to effective Sales Plan activities and results across the HFA team.
- Act as a strategic liaison between the HFA team and credit underwriting and adjudication teams, advocating on behalf of HFAs to ensure mortgage deals are structured appropriately, interest rates are accurately calculated, and files move efficiently through the approval process. This includes identifying and addressing potential barriers to timely adjudication, facilitating clear and consistent communication between teams, and promoting solutions that align with both credit risk standards and member needs.
- Take a research based and data informed approach- Leveraging research and data, provide recommendations for enhancements to delivery strategy, development of new channels, and product and service improvements, all in support of an exceptional Owner experience and competitive advantage for Libro Credit Union.
- Develop organizational strategies to drive increased growth in insured and B-20 compliant mortgage financing.
- Collaborate with third-party partners, including Sagen and CMHC to effectively leverage product offerings aligned to Libro’s strategic objectives and expand penetration.
- Explore opportunities for partnerships and referral relationships that will drive mortgage growth and new ownership.

- Do you have a minimum 5 years of experience in Home Financing market, personal banking and financial advice with experience in a supervisory role in retail delivery of a financial institution?
