As we continue to grow, we are strengthening the systems that help leaders evaluate performance, develop talent, and plan for future leadership needs. You will help evolve the organization from informal, fragmented practices to clear and repeatable processes that enable confident, consistent talent decisions. Reporting to the Director of Organizational Effectiveness, this is a unique opportunity for you to design and build foundational talent systems that support performance, development, and long-term organizational success.
What you will be doing
- Build and operate the enterprise talent management system, designing and evolving core processes such as performance enablement, succession planning, and talent calibration
- Develop practical tools, frameworks, and scorecards to ensure consistent evaluation across deliverables, skills, and cultural alignment
- Establish the operating rhythm for talent cycles, including goal setting, performance reviews, and succession planning
- Strengthen enterprise leadership practices by embedding goal setting, feedback, coaching, and talent discussions into everyday leadership rhythms
- Monitor adoption and continuously refine tools and guidance to strengthen leadership behaviors that build trust and drive performance
- Run end-to-end talent cycles by coordinating performance, feedback, and review processes, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely completion
- Prepare materials, synthesize feedback, and support leadership discussions on talent performance and potential
- Provide guidance and quality assurance to ensure performance goals and KPIs are clear, aligned, and consistent across teams
- Partner with Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and HR Advisory teams to integrate talent processes with development programs, incentives, and rewards
- Deliver insights and reporting that support talent planning and enable leaders to make confident, informed talent decisions
- Gather feedback to continuously improve the talent management operating system, refining playbooks, templates, and tools over time
- Advance data-informed talent practices as the organization scales
What we would like from you
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field
- 5–8 years of experience in talent management, organizational effectiveness, HR programs, or related people strategy roles
- Proven experience designing or improving performance management, talent review, or succession planning systems in a growing organization
- Strong process design and project management skills, with the ability to turn strategy into practical tools and workflows
- Skilled at influencing and building trust with leaders and stakeholders through credibility, clarity, and sound judgment
- Able to translate qualitative and quantitative inputs into meaningful insights that drive talent and performance decisions
- Exceptionally organized with the discipline to manage multiple cycles, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Pragmatic and adaptable, balancing structure with flexibility in a dynamic, evolving environment
Location and other key details:
- This is a full-time permanent position based out of our Calgary Corporate Office
- Hybrid work flexibility with a blend of remote and in-office collaboration
- The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with occasional additional hours as required
