**_Position Summary: _ **
School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking applications for Casual Bus Drivers to support student transportation in the Burns Lake area, including Decker Lake, Francois Lake, Granisle and Grassy Plains. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Operating school buses on regular and scheduled routes
- Transporting students for curricular and extra-curricular trips
- Conducting daily inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Maintaining positive communication with students, parents, and school staff
** Qualifications: **
- Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
- Valid BC Class 2 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement and a clean driving record
- ValidFirst Aid Certificate and CPR training
- WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures
- Defensive driving training or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 months of successful experience operating Class 2 or higher vehicles in all seasons
