We are continually growing and are looking to add an Operator to our team in Bedford. Hourly Compensation $22-$26 per hour (experience-based) Comprehensive benefits package Dental and Health. We want our employees to stay healthy 2 Weeks Vacations Work-life balance. What You'll Do
Safely operate equipment including excavators, skid steers, wheel loaders and other landscape construction equipment. Complete grading, excavation, site preparation and material placement. Load, unload and transport soil, gravel, mulch and other landscaping materials. Assist with the installation of retaining walls, trees, shrubs, drainage systems and other landscape features. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance. Read site plans and work with the Crew Leader to complete projects efficiently. Support crew members with general landscape construction tasks when equipment is not in use. Maintain a clean, organized and safe job site. Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience operating construction or landscaping equipment. Experience operating excavators and skid steers is required.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable, dependable and able to work as part of a team. Experience in landscape construction is considered an asset.
Schedule
Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime and weekend work during peak season.
