Job Summary:

Superior Sany Solutions, a division of Imperial Dade Canada, leading national distributor, has a job open in Ottawa. A Parts Coordinator is required for a busy, cleaning equipment repair business and will be responsible for carrying out all parts department functions within the Ottawa and surrounding regions as well as parts of Quebec. This is a contract position to cover for a maternity leave.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory management – working to maintain the efficiency of the parts department and maintaining a low cost, high turn parts department while maintaining the correct inventory to assist in the service/repair and sales of parts. Use of an ERP system (P21).
  • Be available to address customer needs and concerns in a timely manner with a high level of customer service.
  • Taking parts orders from customer and creating direct shipments.
  • Managing the inventory levels and adjusting min/maxes as needed. Reviews of parts to determine stocking needs based on sales.
  • Receiving and picking of parts and materials.
  • Assisting the service coordinators and technicians with looking up parts and materials needed for equipment repairs.
  • Locations transfers and stocking needs for the mobile service technicians’ trucks.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized parts department.
  • Working with the service team on new processes, procedures, and methods to continually improve the service operation and the efficiently of the parts department.
  • Assisting the service coordinators with dispatch and customer requests as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to meet business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent
  • 2 – 3 years in a working parts department. Cleaning industry preferred, but not required.
  • Use of P21 or any ERP system considered and asset.
  • Bilingual French/English preferred, but not required
  • Inventory management experience
  • Ability to solve problems and working with others
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to work under pressure
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft excel, word, outlook required.

Working/Other Conditions:

  • In office position required to be in office/parts department 5 days a week.
  • Working indoors in offices as well as in a shop environment when needed.
  • Working in front of a computer for long periods of time.
