Akelius is seeking a customer service focused and organized property administrator to support a portfolio of residential properties in Toronto.
The property administrator will partner with the property manager to ensure business objectives of the assigned portfolio are being achieved.
The successful individual will assist with the coordination of property maintenance, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and Akelius standards.

manage lease and legal administration process of assigned portfolio

build and maintain positive tenant relationships
-
maintain organized filing systems for tenants and vendors
-
process rent payments and cheque requisitions
-
issue legal notices and manage corresponding deadlines
-
prepare and process collections for overdue accounts
-
organize and perform move-in and out inspections
-
prepare and distribute notices
-
communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, business partners and other stakeholders
-
other duties and special projects as assigned
who you are
-
bachelor’s degree is preferred
-
degree focus in Business Administration, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field is preferred
-
three plus years of residential property administration experience
-
superior organizational and time management skills
-
ability to multi-task with competing deadlines
-
adaptable to an ever-changing environment
-
proficient use of Yardi voyager
-
strong command of the English language
-
confident in taking initiative and making decisions
-
commercial administration experience an asset
-
confident managing arrears
-
knowledge and understanding of the tenant board processes
