About the role
Our client is launching a premier purpose-built rental community in Toronto and is seeking a Property Manager to help bring it to life. This is a rare opportunity to join before first occupancy and play a key role in establishing the culture, resident experience and operational standards for a premier 170-suite community designed to deliver a hospitality-inspired lifestyle.
Your New Employer
Our client is a fully integrated property management company with expertise spanning asset management, property operations and residential communities across the GTA. While the company continues to grow, it has maintained a collaborative, hands-on culture where senior leadership remains accessible, decisions are made quickly, and employees are encouraged to contribute ideas and take ownership of their properties. The organization has built its reputation on delivering exceptional service while creating communities where residents genuinely enjoy living.
This opportunity is unlike stepping into an established building. You'll join the team before first occupancy of a premier 170-suite purpose-built rental community featuring luxury finishes, advanced building technology and thoughtfully designed amenities. From day one, you'll help establish the operational standards, resident experience and culture that will define the community for years to come. With a strong commitment to promoting from within and additional opportunities expected as the portfolio grows, our client is looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career while helping launch one of Toronto's newest luxury rental communities.
Your Role
Reporting to the Regional Property Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of this premier residential community as it transitions from construction to occupancy and long-term stabilization. During the initial lease-up, you will focus on resident experience, building readiness, maintenance coordination, budgeting, financial administration and operational excellence while working alongside a dedicated leasing team. As the community matures, you will also assume responsibility for leasing the property's limited vacancies.
Working closely with two on-site Maintenance Technicians, contractors and service providers, you will ensure the building consistently reflects the high standards expected of a luxury residential community. You will become the trusted point of contact for residents while helping establish the culture and service standards that will define the property for years to come.
What Sets You Apart
You have 3 or more years of multifamily residential property management experience and understand that exceptional communities are built as much on outstanding service as on strong operations. Whether you're an experienced Property Manager or a seasoned Assistant Property Manager ready for the next step, you bring professionalism, sound judgment and the confidence to navigate challenging conversations while maintaining positive resident relationships.
You are organized, polished and genuinely enjoy creating memorable customer experiences. You understand the Residential Tenancies Act, embrace technology and are excited by the opportunity to launch a brand-new community rather than inherit an existing one.
Why Join?
Few opportunities allow you to help shape a premier residential community from its very first residents. You'll receive comprehensive training, work alongside an experienced leadership team and play an integral role in launching what is expected to become one of Toronto's premier purpose-built rental communities. If you're looking for a company that values long-term careers, promotes from within and empowers its people to make an impact, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
Compensation
Expected base salary of $85,000 to $100,000 per year. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is not guaranteed and may vary based on individual performance. Our client also offers 100% employer-paid health benefits, four weeks' vacation, and the opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing residential owner-developer.
