The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Winter 2026 ENTI 672 LEC 01 & LEC 02 (Thinking like an Entrepreneur). This class runs on Mondays from January 5 to February 13, 2026.

The calendar description of the course: "Focuses on identifying and successfully exploiting opportunities by applying research and analytical tools. Some of the topics covered include design thinking and business modeling. "

Qualifications

  • A graduate degree (MBA, MSc, DBA, or PhD) is required.
  • Work or related experience in the field is strongly preferred.
  • Background in having started a new venture, having run a small business, or having worked with early-stage startups is strongly preferred.
  • Experience teaching entrepreneurship courses at the university level is required.
  • Ability to ground teaching in scientific evidence and scholarship of entrepreneurship is required.
