Samsung Channel Marketing Manager for S. Com

Description Position Summary: The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for driving product support and marketing support on Samsung.com for all CE (HE, DA, EBD) product categories, and will execute launch activities, product updates, promotional support and miscellaneous marketing content for Samsung.com. The overall objective is a conduit of collaboration between internal CE and DtC teams to maximize CE presence on Samsung.com.
The incumbent will be the liaison between the Marketing Team and Product Marketing, Sales, DtC Merchandising, DtC Sales & Marketing teams, for all CE Samsung.com marketing and product related matters. This role must collaborate with the CE Businesses in conjunction with the divisional Product Managers and Sales Teams for the Samsung.com business over the full life cycle of the product. The incumbent is also supporting Samsung.com marketing analysis, presentations and report creation for business indicators that facilitate the decision-making process and strategy development for CE product categories and overall company goals related to Samsung.com.
Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Make sure that all the product assets, product information, reviews, images & pricing are accurate on Samsung.com. This includes ensuring that all strategic product focus areas are front and center.
- Create new or adapt HQ assets to be used on Samsung.com, working with agency partners, obtaining all required approvals (e.g. AD LCP), acting as the champion for brand style ensuring that tactics meet program objectives and Masterbrand tone & manner.
- Working with the CE Samsung.com Account Managers ensuring that the launch of new products are well represented on the website and digital marketing activities making sure that all information required is available at time of product launch. Delivering and creating online assets to run Promotions on Samsung.com.
- Collaborate with the CE Product & Sales teams and liaise with the Samsung.com teams to execute the marketing plan and maximize the online presence on Samsung.com.
- Collaborate with information technology and business units to deliver all releases, prepare work schedule for all projects, and provide support to all strategies to achieve all marketing strategies for Samsung.com. Utilize internal digital and online technical experts to build the necessary tools and resources to execute and amplify the Samsung product.
- Collaborate with internal marketing communications and digital marketing experts to ensure plans developed are integrated and aligned to best practice principles from both a brand and performance marketing perspective across online activities for ecomm and retailer efforts.
- Maintain knowledge on all products, services of website, and recommend new products for Samsung.com and recommend enhancements if required and coordinate with various cross-functional team to analyze product requirement.
- Communicate to HQ (GBM) re market, competition, and product planning.
- Assist the Product management team in data mining, analysis, presentation and report creation in a routine manner to make sure all relevant information is available.
- Participate in coordination with all Product management team in the decision-making process and strategy development for every category and overall company goals.
- Successfully complete in a timely manner at any certifications as mandated by HQ.
- If needed, estimate scope of work, prepare budgets, and create plan proposals (PPs) and execution orders (EOs) as part of the planning and approval process.
Qualifications Requirements: In-Office:

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Ecommerce preferred.
Knowledge:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to productively interact with distribution, retail and reseller business partners.
- The ability to plan, organize and implement marketing projects and programs.
- The ability to disseminate market information and provide the best strategic business plan.
- The ability to negotiate with both vendors and customers on marketing proposals and plans.
- The ability to develop tasks, work assignments, to clearly define objectives and give technical sales and marketing on a day-to-day level.
- Ability to assist in long and mid-term business planning.
- Ability to manage budgets and determine ROI.
- Must have a proven track record on results.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must.
- Show a sense of urgency.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
- Strong understanding of e-store shopping experience in an Omni-channel retail environment is desired.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Ecommerce and digital marketing, Google Analytics or other related experience.
- Home Appliances or Consumer Electronics background is preferred.
