Who We Are Club Caddie is a fast-growing Detroit-based company in the golf industry that is looking for people who are action-oriented, customer-focused, quick to learn, dedicated, accountable, and driven. We design and build comprehensive software that’s simple to use so that golf business owners and operators can focus on what they do best—providing unforgettable golf experiences.

How We Work We make bedrock business principles accessible and intuitive for golf course operators of all sizes by arming our partners with comprehensive and easy-to-use software solutions.

We like operating at full throttle in a collaborative group of both seasoned startup veterans and tech novices who deliberate about the right way to do things, and who are empowered to take smart risks, find brilliant solutions, and build things that better the well-being of our customers and theirs. We’re doing our best work when we’re learning from our mistakes, improving on our successes, and finding abilities we didn’t know that we had.

What You’ll Do

  • Customer Data Collection & Preparation

  • Collaborate with customers to gather required operational, membership, and financial data.

  • Scrub, validate, and standardize incoming data to ensure accuracy and compatibility with Club Caddie’s import requirements.

  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or gaps before migration.

  • System Configuration & Setup

  • Configure and set up each club’s environment within Club Caddie, tailoring settings to the club’s unique requirements.

  • Prepare data imports and ensure seamless integration into the platform.

  • Verify functionality and confirm readiness for customer use.

  • Project Management & Customer Support

  • Drive the onboarding process forward during the two-week implementation window, keeping both internal teams and customers aligned on timelines and deliverables.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers during implementation, addressing questions and ensuring milestones are met.

  • Proactively identify risks or delays and implement solutions to keep the project on track.

30-60 Day Plan

Days 1–14: Foundation & Learning

  • Learn the framework of your daily responsibilities and workflows.
  • Gain a comprehensive overview of Club Caddie’s software data platform features.
  • Begin to understand the project management tools, like Arrows, HubSpot, and the internal Python Scripting Website
  • Shadow data transforming sessions along with consultation calls, to understand best practices.
  • Perform a mock/internal data exports and imports during 1:1 sessions to build confidence and gain knowledge

Days 15–30: Independent Execution

  • Begin to run your own projects, working with customers, Working in Arrows and HubSpot
  • Perform complete data collection, scrubbing, and transfers in preparation for customer launch dates.
  • Develop proficiency in managing your calendar and prioritizing tasks to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Days 30 and Beyond: Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead onboarding projects from intro call through training handoff, serving as the primary customer contact.
  • Refine your workflow and routines based on hands-on experience and team collaboration.
  • Share learnings and best practices with cross-functional teams during weekly calls to drive collective improvement.

Who You Are You care about helping small business owners (and enterprise clients) reach their dreams. You sweat the details of their issues and truly care about the customer experience. In fact, you do whatever’s needed to help our customers succeed. You’re a terrific listener, a diplomatic negotiator, and a discerning communicator. You see what needs to be done and you're motivated to do it without direction, at the same time looking for opportunities to share ideas and pitch in on others’ projects. You take customer feedback as a challenge to get it right and get joy from building a product that customers love.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong technical skills in data management, validation, and formatting.
  • Experience with system configuration or software implementation projects.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with the golf, hospitality, or SaaS industry is a plus.
  • You are passionate about helping others
  • You are good at problem-solving…and you enjoy it!
  • Solid team player, but able to work on their own initiative.
  • You show up ready to own it every day.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time; may not be required.
