This is a full-time position requiring evening shifts from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Friday. As a Wash Bay Attendant & Detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring our heavy equipment and vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and maintained. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the efficient operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash heavy equipment and fleet vehicles using both manual and automated methods.
- Detail the interiors and exteriors of equipment meticulously.
- Clean and de-grease engine compartments, undercarriages, wheels, and vehicle parts.
- Safely move equipment to and from the wash bay and around the yard.
- Conduct general housekeeping duties including garbage removal and floor cleaning.
- Accurately maintain electronic wash bay logs.
- Report any faults or malfunctions in company equipment promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to keeping equipment clean.
- Willingness to utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toed rubber boots and safety glasses.
- Ability to work in a wash bay environment with exposure to noise and water.
- Knowledge of safety protocols is essential.
- CSTS 2020 certification is required (may be provided).
- CSA approved steel-toed rubber boots are mandatory.
- Class 5 driver’s license & reliable vehicle is required.
