Key Responsibilities Start up and shut down boilers
Blow down and test low water cut-offs
Blow down water column and check gage glasses water level
Blow down boilers
Visible check boilers and system for leaks
Check burner flame
Check boiler make up water tank level
Check deaerator water level
Check fuel solvent tank level
Check fuel oil tank level
Check water softener brine tank salt level, add salt when need.
Check Chemical treatment tank level
Check Boiler #2 water circulating pump oil level, add oil when need.
Check CEMS sample pressure
Check CEMS air filter. Clean filter element when need
Check CEMS instrument gas cylinder pressure, Change cylinder when need.
Check boiler #1 air blower filter
Check igniter and burner operation
Check both pilot and main flame
Grease bag house fan motor and bearings
Grease FD fan
Punch boiler #1 tubes when need
Test boiler high water cut off
Test boiler flame failure
Test boiler high pressure cut off
Clean out boiler #1 fire box when need
Clean solvent line filter when need
Clean fuel oil line filter when need
Clean CEMS air conditioner filter when need
Drain boilers, open hand holes, man holes and clean out water side
Replace gaskets
Check water column
Replace water column gage glass
Check low water cut off
Clean feed water strainers to boiler #1, #2 and #3
Clean boiler #1 fire box and inspect refractory
Clean boiler #1 fuel nozzle
Replace boiler #1 FD fan belts
Replace bag house fan belts
