Employment Status Part Time Employment Type Casual Job Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, Student Recruitment Services, an incumbent in this role acts as an ambassador on behalf of CNC on the Prince George campus. This role assists in fostering deeper connections with our secondary school and community partners and ultimately enhance CNC’s reputation as a student-centred post-secondary institution. More specifically, the Campus Ambassador will support our professional recruitment staff to assist in the implementation of on campus events.
Specific Duties
- In collaboration with Student Recruitment Services, acts as an ambassador at CNC on-campus events.
- Support the implementation of on-campus events.
- Provide logistical support when needed.
- You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners.
- You will promote a positive work atmosphere by interacting and communicating in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager or designate
Skills & Qualifications

High school and plus additional post-secondary courses including but not limited to Communications, Business Management, or Marketing.

Customer service experience and public speaking would be considered an asset

Current CNC student with a solid academic record

Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Commitment to representing the College with a high degree of professionalism

Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a team environment

Customer service orientation

Experience in supporting others planning and coordinating activities and events

Physical ability to complete demands of job
