Job Description
Based out of our Toronto office, your esponsibilities for Support Specialist will include:
IT services and support activities:
On-site office support - Attendance required Mon- Fri
-
Provide first-line support for Laptops, PCs, Printer and have skill in:
- Active Directory & Azure AD
- M365 Admin
- MS Teams Admin
- Meraki Network Admin
- Intune, JAMF and Autopilot Admin
- Citrix Admin
- MSOffice 365

Troubleshoot and support End User related issues.
-
Pick up, acknowledge, and resolve incidents and requests promptly for users working from the office or remotely.
-
Thoroughly document all troubleshooting steps and create knowledge base articles of resolutions.
-
Prioritise issues and work with Support Team Leads, Application Managers, IT Operations, Vendors, and other teams to resolve issues, minimising escalations.
-
Escalate high-priority issues to Support Team Leads and Senior Management.
-
Assist with onboarding and offboarding new starters, including preparing equipment for new starters and account creation or removal in supported applications.
-
Provide Executive support to Senior Management and be the point of contact on-site for all IT-related matters.
-
Perform health checks and monitor automated system and application alerts, resolving issues where possible.
-
Learn new technologies and acquire new skills to cater to the changing demands.
-
Provide on-the-job training as necessary for junior members of the team.
Qualifications
You Have:
-
A Diploma/Degree in an appropriate IT discipline is preferred.
-
2+ years in a hands-on Information Technology Support role.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Exceptional teamwork and help other technical support workers.
-
Experience working with IT ticketing systems such as Manage Engine, Remedy, JIRA Service Desk, or Service Now.
-
Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
-
Experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, Windows 11, Microsoft Office applications, etc.
-
Experience in one or more of the following is advantageous, but not a requirement for this role, as training will be provided:
-
Certifications MCSE, Microsoft 365/Azure role-based certifications, AWS, and CCNA.
-
Experience in the AWS Cloud platform on multiple services.
-
Experience supporting business applications and productivity tools.
