🚨Event Security Guard - Job Fair
Allied Universal is actively recruiting Event Security Guards for a premier annual exhibition at the Toronto Waterfront Fairgrounds this summer!
We are looking for successful candidates to have some experience with enforcing regulations, crowd control and responding to emergencies.
ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A SMART SERVE CERTIFICATION OR BE WILLING TO OBTAIN ONE DURING ONBOARDING.
Preference will be given to those with an existing, valid certificate.
Candidates are encouraged to attend with an up-to-date resume that clearly reflects relevant experience.
📅 Hiring Event Details
Date: Thursday, July 9th, 2026
Time: 10AM – 2PM
Location: 29 Gervais Drive, North York - near Don Mills & Eglinton Ave E
📍 Available Positions
Event Security Guards (Temporary 3 month contract)
40 + positions available
Pay rate: $21.00 per hour
End of August to early September
Only paid parking available - best to take the GO/transit
May lead to permanent opportunities after the contract ends
✅ Minimum Qualifications
Valid Ontario Security Guard License First Aid & CPR Certification Valid Smart Serve Certification Crowd management experience preferred Minimum 6 months - 1 year of security experience preferred Reliable transportation Strong verbal and written communication skills Computer proficiency (incident reporting, access control systems, email) Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure Physically capable of extended standing, walking, and patrol duties Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Maintain a safe and secure environment Monitor access points and conduct routine patrols Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally Complete accurate and detailed reports Deliver exceptional customer service Collaborate with site management and emergency services
