About the role

About Infostrux:

Infostrux is one of North America’s fastest-growing data-focused consultancies. Within 18 months of our founding in 2021, Snowflake recognized us at the highest partnership tier—a reflection of our deep expertise and impact.

We help organizations unlock the value of their data by building modern, cloud-native platforms that power analytics, AI, and machine learning. Our work spans the modern data stack—covering data engineering, architecture, integration, and modelling—with Snowflake as one of our core partners.

From startups to Fortune 500s across industries like finance, health, gaming, and retail, we design and deliver scalable data solutions that enable faster, smarter, data-driven decisions. And as proud recipients of the Great Place to Work® Certification (2025), we are equally committed to fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and growth for our people.

Job Summary:

Our teams design and build cloud-based data architectures in Snowflake, implementing secure, role-based access controls and leveraging Terraform to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and well-governed. We help clients migrate data to Snowflake using modern ELT and orchestration tools and refine it through modelling frameworks like dbt and Databricks to deliver trusted, high-quality data for analytics and innovation.

As a Data Architect at Infostrux, you will design and deliver secure, scalable, and well-governed Snowflake data architectures that drive business outcomes. You will lead end-to-end data solutions, from ingestion and modelling to governance and performance optimization, leveraging tools such as Terraform, dbt, and Databricks. By collaborating across teams and mentoring engineers, you will transform complex data environments into reliable, high-impact systems that enable clients to make confident, data-driven decisions.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Advise customers by understanding their business processes, objectives, and data challenges.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to solve complex problems within their data warehouse and optimize for performance and data quality.
  • Analyze clients' existing cloud-based and on-premises database environments and their data providers to enable secure and efficient data extraction.
  • Lead the design, presentation, and delivery of best-practice data warehouse solutions, data pipelines, and transformations in Snowflake (leveraging tools such as Coalesce or dbt for orchestration).
  • Lead the design, presentation, and implementation of data-sharing solutions for single-tenant and multi-tenant cloud database systems.
  • Mentor and support Data Engineers and Senior Data Engineers to strengthen their technical capabilities and foster collaboration.
  • Build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with teams outside of Engineering (e.g., Sales, Pre-Sales, Field CTOs) to drive business opportunities at Infostrux.
  • Evaluate and implement new and existing technologies to enhance data engineering capabilities, governance, and data reliability for our customers.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency with data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Expertise with data processing languages or software (e.g., SQL, dbt, Scala).
  • Skilled in writing software in Python, Go, C++, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with client-facing projects, troubleshooting, and working collaboratively across engineering and consulting teams.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake), data architecture, and ELT systems (e.g., Fivetran, HVR, Stitch, Coalesce).
  • Strong background mentoring and leading Data Engineers, promoting excellence, and driving quality outcomes across teams.

Additional Assets:

  • SnowPro® Core and SnowPro® Advanced: Architect Snowflake certification.
  • AWS Solutions Architect - Professional certification (or equivalent).
  • Experience with infrastructure tooling (E.g., Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with orchestration tooling (E.g., Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
  • Fluency in French

What’s in it for you? We’re so glad you asked!

You will be surrounded by some of the brightest and most accomplished technical minds in our field. We are a team of very diverse and passionate professionals who love working together and solving problems by leveraging technology to help our customers. We pride ourselves in our outstanding work culture that is grounded in our 8 core values: trust, excellence, integrity, humility, accountability, responsibility, kindness, and fun.

We value our people above all, and we provide a competitive compensation and benefits package benefits to show our team our appreciation for everything they do:

  • We are a 100% remote organization and our team members can work from the comfort of their homes, as well as anywhere abroad where they are entitled to work for up to 3 months per year.
  • We are strong believers of work-life integration and we offer a flexible schedule so that our team can manage their own workload and still be there for family and loved ones.
  • We offer 4 weeks of vacation annually, in addition to paid personal and sick days, so that our team can unwind, recharge, and enjoy time away for hobbies and family.
  • We provide a monthly bring-your-own-device allowance for each team member to choose the computer and phone of their preference (and it is theirs to keep afterwards).
  • We strongly believe in professional growth, so we are continuously educating ourselves with regular lunch & learns and industry events, and we invest in professional development and industry-based certifications for everyone in our team.
  • We constantly encourage everyone to step outside of their comfort zone and try new things, so we dedicate time each month to work on non-client work and collaborate on new innovative ideas, and we reward people who experiment and take risks.
  • We enjoy getting together and we promote co-working days and social events in our main locations on a regular basis.

We are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age. Compensation for this role depends on various factors, including seniority, skill level, and location. Compensation structures may also differ based on the type of engagement—contract rates vary from full-time employee salary ranges. Specific details will be discussed during the hiring process.

We look forward to getting to know you!
