JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee cross-functional industrial and facilities projects that support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate brings strong project management discipline, financial acumen, and stakeholder management skills to ensure that every initiative is executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with business priorities.

This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects that directly support production efficiency and strategic growth, while working in a collaborative environment that values initiative and cross-departmental teamwork. You’ll have strong leadership support, broad exposure to multiple operational areas, and the chance to continuously refine project management processes within a forward-looking organization.

Reporting to the Operations leadership team, the Project Manager will evaluate project justifications and resource requirements, develop structured project plans, and ensure successful delivery according to defined baselines for scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities:

Project Governance & Oversight

  • Lead the full lifecycle of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project management best practices.
  • Evaluate project proposals, budgets, and resource requirements to confirm alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, track progress against baselines, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Manage project risks proactively, identifying mitigation strategies to prevent schedule or cost overruns.
  • Ensure scope, cost, and quality objectives are respected throughout project execution.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Act as the central point of contact for all project stakeholders, maintaining clear and timely communication.
  • Facilitate informed decision-making by providing accurate project updates, reports, and recommendations.
  • Ensure projects remain strategically aligned with the company’s core business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Facilities, PPR, MRE, Engineering, and Operations) to coordinate project execution.

Operational Execution

  • Oversee contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that work is carried out safely, on schedule, and within specifications.
  • Support procurement processes for project-related materials, equipment, or services.
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional operational projects (facilities upgrades, equipment installations, process improvements, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, resource planning, and project risk management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills.
  • PMP certification or equivalent training is an asset.
  • Engineering license (OIQ) is an asset but not required.
