Responsibilities
Electronic receiving of product from metro deliveries and satellite locations Physically unloading merchandise from trailers onto returns dock Moving product to appropriate area according to procedure Investigate any discrepancies from store locations and communicate as such to the sending location Maintain all supplies, material handling equipment and detail of returns area Review, investigate and maintain daily reports communicate with employees and management Ensure the driver check in procedure compliance Help support the merchandising program as it pertains to our stores Direct work of employees in support of management for the operational process in returns Initiate and implement programs and procedures required to ensure DC safety and cleanliness in all zones Ensure all equipment and machinery is in good order and ensure employees perform pre-shift checks Train and develop employees, identifying and mentoring high potential candidates Ensure compliance with all Brick Group policies and procedures while achieving departmental goals through effective staff management Key holder responsibility as needed – opening and closing the building Qualifications High school diploma Ability to organize and prioritize work for others Coaching and mentoring of associates Detail orientated and excellent organizational skills Ability to solve complex problems operationally and in WMS Minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse material handling position Experience with warehouse management system (WMS) Experience with our current retail system(E1) Why The Brick?
