Your Impact Starts Here Graham is actively recruiting for a Planner / Scheduler supporting the Buildings Division. Reporting to the Planning & Scheduling Director the Planner / Scheduler plays a key role in establishing project schedules for complex projects.
Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site
- Develop, maintain, and update project master schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) in alignment with contract requirements and organizational best practices
- Coordinate closely with clients, subtrades, and project teams to establish baseline schedules, integrate risk registers, and ensure schedule accuracy and alignment with project milestones
- Prepare and lead regular schedule updates, including cash flow forecasts and produce comprehensive Schedule Performance Reports with KPIs such as EV, SPI, S‑curves, and variance analyses
- Identify schedule risks, opportunities, and required corrective actions; facilitate mitigation planning, resequencing discussions, and delay analysis to support extension‑of‑time claims
- Review and validate schedules produced by junior staff or non-schedulers, ensuring schedule quality, robustness, and compliance with contractual criticality criteria
The Right Tools for the Job
- Education: Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred. Equivalent to completion of a diploma training program at a college or technical school
- Experience: 5+ years of Planning/Scheduling (experience with buildings or healthcare is an asset.) Experience with delay analysis techniques, working on multiple projects or large complex schedules is an asset, along with experience across various delivery models (Design‑Build, CM, PPP, Alliance, etc.)
- Certifications: PMP, PMI‑SP, or PSP designation preferred
Compensation
- Salary Range $100,000 to $140,000 per annum
- Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement
- Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience
