About the role
Overview
We are looking for a passionate Software Developer 1 to join our Numaflow team at Intuit. You will work on building and evolving open-source, cloud-native data streaming infrastructure and developer tooling that powers real-time data pipelines at scale. You will also contribute to our next-generation Service Builder platform and agentic solutions and helping Intuit developers ship faster with seamless, AI-augmented experiences.
Responsibilities

Contribute to Numaflow, an open-source, Kubernetes-native platform for building scalable data and AI pipelines

Build features for Service Builder that enable developers to ship services faster with less friction

Develop agentic solutions to automate developer workflows and improve the overall developer experience

Write clean, well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews

Engage with and contribute to the open-source Numaflow community
-
Apply best practices in designing, building, and maintaining software systems
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with peers and learn from experienced team members
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Up to 2 years of industry experience (including internships)

Strong fundamentals in systems thinking, data structures, algorithms, and problem solving
-
Experience with or coursework in systems programming languages such as Rust, C++, or Go
-
Familiarity with AI concepts and a basic understanding of generative AI capabilities
-
Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice to Have
-
Open-source contributions or personal projects (e.g., GitHub)

Experience with Rust and/or Python
-
Internship or project experience in platform engineering or building agentic developer experiences
