**Job type:**Permanent, Fulltime
Expected annual pay range:$85,000-$100,000

We’re looking for a District Manager to join our Retail Operations team to support our Ottawa and surrounding area shops. This individual will report directly to the Director of Retail Sales and Operations.
**Job Overview:**The District Manager is responsible for achieving financial and non-financial goals for their region (Ottawa, surrounding areas).
This individual is responsible for ensuring all team members demonstrate Purdys core values while providing exceptional customer service to support the continued growth of the organization. The District Manager is involved in short-term and long-term planning for their region.
This is a permanent fulltime position that requires open availability and ability to travel frequently and speak French.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Maximize profitability for the division by producing positive results in sales volume, labour productivity, inventory shrinkage and shop contribution
- Ensure shops are always achieving high quality customer service
- Set and communicate shop operations standards and implement recognition tools to support achievement of those standards
- Provide training, development, coaching and timely constructive performance management for management and associates at the shops
- Communicate product and inventory opportunities, concerns, recommendations to the Director of Retail Sales and Operations
- Work with the People & Culture team and shop managers to recommend, recruit and use talent plans to develop sales associates and promote career growth through succession planning programs
You will be a good fit if you have:
- 2+ years of experience as a multi-store manager
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
- Passionate about chocolate and selling quality products
- Dedicated to providing excellent customer service
- Ability to speak and understand French is required
