Change Management Analyst
About the role
Job Overview: We are seeking a Change Management Analyst to support a major organizational transformation initiative. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for developing and delivering change management activities that help ensure successful implementation and user adoption. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and operational teams to create practical change management deliverables, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and support organizational readiness.
This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys producing high-quality change artifacts, facilitating stakeholder sessions, and driving implementation activities rather than providing strategic advisory services alone.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute change management activities to support project implementation. Create change management deliverables, including: Stakeholder assessments Change impact assessments Readiness assessments Communication plans and materials Training materials Job aids Quick reference guides FAQs Presentations End-user support documentation Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, workshops, demonstrations, walkthroughs, and alignment meetings. Collaborate with business and project teams to identify impacts, gather information, validate messaging, and translate project changes into user-friendly materials. Develop communications for leadership, business users, operational teams, and other stakeholders. Create training documentation and user support materials for business process, system, or service changes. Support organizational readiness, rollout planning, implementation, and adoption activities. Track change-related deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items. Support pilot programs and phased implementation activities. Ensure change management deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
Work Arrangement: Location: Edmonton, Alberta Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM (Local Time) Work Model: Fully Onsite (5 days per week) Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of direct experience in change management or change facilitation. Minimum 4 years of experience developing change management deliverables, including change strategies, stakeholder assessments, impact assessments, communication plans, and readiness materials. Minimum 4 years of experience creating stakeholder communication materials. Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Experience developing training materials and end-user documentation. Strong organizational, planning, and coordination abilities.
Preferred Qualifications: PROSCI, CCMP, or equivalent Change Management certification. 3+ years of experience developing and delivering training materials and documentation. 3+ years of experience supporting organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, or training initiatives. 2+ years of experience gathering business requirements through interviews, workshops, and document analysis. Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives within a public-sector environment. Additional Information: Criminal background check required prior to project commencement. Successful candidates will be required to complete mandatory onboarding and compliance training. Equipment required for onsite work will be provided.
