Information and Technology Strategy, Planning and Policy Analyst

The Government of Northwest Territories (GNWT) is seeking a strategic and collaborative Information and Technology Strategy, Planning and Policy Analyst to join our Governance, Planning and Security Division.
In this role, you are responsible for updating the GNWT's I&T Strategy Framework, Integrated Planning Framework, I&T Policy Framework, as well as planning and coordinating the development and renewal of policy artifacts related to these frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Consults individually and collectively with the I&T Sector leaders to update the strategic actions and the 3-year I&T Strategic Plan.
- Oversee the work of interdisciplinary teams and supports the successful delivery of strategic projects and is key to all I&T strategic planning and initiatives.
- Maintains the I&T Policy Framework and planning and coordinating the development and renewal of artifacts related to the framework.
- Leads telecommunications regulatory impacting residents and businesses in the Northwest Territories.
- Provide I&T Sector governance support.
Key Qualifications
- A relevant degree with 3 years of relevant experience
Equivalencies
- A relevant Master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
- A relevant Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience.
- All other equivalencies will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- Relevant education can include, but is not limited to:
- Public Policy
- Business Administration
- Computer Science
- Communications
- Relevant experience can include, but is not limited to:
- Policy Analyst
