About the role
Tasks
- Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure optimal workflow.
- Supervise a team of 5 to 10 employees, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and monitoring health, safety, and quality compliance.
- Manage orders, priorities, returns, and shipments using Fidelio, while maintaining strict inventory control and handling of non-conforming products.
- Plan and oversee transportation, deliveries, pickups, and equipment maintenance (packaging machines, forklifts, trucks).
- Perform inter-warehouse transfers as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse, ensuring adherence to mandatory procedures and training (first aid, TDG, WHMIS, forklift operation).
- Optimize logistics processes, reduce errors, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure internal and external communication, as well as administrative management (emails, requests, record keeping).
- Supervise warehouse opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and safety checks.
- Handle, when necessary, the movement of goods between different warehouse locations.
- Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements
- Degree in management or equivalent experience in supervising, coaching, and training teams.
- Minimum of 3 years of team supervision experience in a comparable operational environment, such as a high-volume distribution center.
- At least 5 years of experience working in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Knowledge of logistics procedures: receiving, shipping, SKU management, transportation, and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
- Up-to-date certifications are an asset: First Aid, forklift operation, TDG, and WHMIS.
