Context of the project: Designing Water Treatment systems for Industrial, Municipal, Micro Electronic, Food & Beverage projects

Day to day activities

Demonstrates strong expertise in 3D systems or Balance of Plant (BOP) design, with the ability to develop complex equipment layouts independently. Produces high-quality 3D models and detailed design packages with minimal supervision. Collaborates within multi-disciplinary project teams to support engineering efforts across various phases. Develops comprehensive 3D CAD documentation for water and wastewater treatment systems, including: General arrangements Skid/module assemblies Fabrication drawings Piping layouts and isometrics Bills of materials (BOM)

Workload breakdown

Generate accurate 3D CAD drawings [60%] Produce 2D fabrication and spool drawings [25%] Generate bills of materials for fabrication [5%] Work within a multi-discipline team and proactively communicate on schedule and technical challenges [10%]

Candidate requirements

Must-haves SolidWorks Experience with piping systems : Water Treatment or Oil & Gas Commitment to building a long-term career in this role.

Nice to have

AutoCAD Plant 3D Experience designing a big plant in the process industry (water treatment, oil & gas, pharma) Tools: SolidWorks Soft skills: Team player

In accordance with our compensation practices, ALTEN is providing the salary range associated with this opportunity. Final compensation will be determined after considering several factors, including professional experience, skill set, educational background, certifications, and geographic market conditions. The current target salary range for this role is $95,000 – $100,000 per year.
