Harricana et Canadian Hat 1918 sont des divisions de Lanctôt Ltée, une entreprise familiale canadienne qui se spécialise depuis 1953 dans la distribution et la production d'articles de marques haute de gamme dans le sport, l’optique et la mode.

VOTRE NOUVEAU DÉFI

Nous recherchons un(e) artisan polyvalent pour participer activement à la production de chapeaux dans notre atelier. Il s'agit d'un poste à temps plein, temporaire pour une durée estimée de 4 à 6 mois. Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, l’artisan polyvalent aura la chance d’effectuer de travail artisanal sur des produits mode de grande qualité dans une ambiance chaleureuse.

VOS RESPONSABILITÉS

• Lecture et vérification de l’ordre de fabrication
• Coupe manuelle (ciseaux) des bases de chapeaux, matières textiles, fourrure, maille jersey et autres matières et réalisation des marquages
• Le piquage sur des machines à coudre simple aiguille, overlock ainsi que des machines a chapeaux pour confectionner des chapeaux.
• Identifier les bons fils/aiguilles/pieds de machine a coudre en fonction du travail à réaliser
• Les fabrications sont à effectuer selon les critères de qualité et de temps standards requis par la compagnie
• L’artisan doit procéder à l’autocontrôle du travail réalisé
• De la couture main (pompons de fourrure, couture des logos et autres trimmings…)
• La finition des chapeaux (nettoyage, couper les fils, contrôle qualité, étiquetage et mise en boite)
• En période de développement des collections :

o Création de patronages et de fiches techniques

o Mise au point des prototypes, suggestion des solutions techniques

o Fabrication de la tête de série pour approbation avant mise en production

• Gérer le stock de fils

• Être garant du respect des consignes de sécurité, et des bonnes pratiques ergonomiques

• Préparer, régler et effectuer l’entretien des machines

• Aider à charger et décharger de la marchandise en fonction des besoins de l’atelier

Harricana and Canadian Hat 1918 are parts of Lanctôt Ltée, a Canadian family business specializing since 1953 in the distribution and production of high-end products and brands in sports, optical and fashion.

YOUR NEW CHALLENGE

We are looking for a versatile craftsman to contribute in the production in our workshop. This is a full-time temporary position for about 4-6months. As part of his/her role, the versatile craftsman will have the chance to do handcrafted work on high quality and fashionable products.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reading and checking of the production order
• Manual cutting (scissors) of hat bases, textile materials, fur, jersey knit and other materials and creation of markings
• single-needle sewing machines, overlock and hat machines to make hats.
• Manufacturing is to be carried out according to the standard quality and time criteria required by the company,
• The craftsman needs to do quality-control on his/her work
• Hand sewing (fur pompoms, sewing of logos and other trimmings, etc.)
• The finishing of the hats (cleaning, cutting the threads, quality control, labeling and put in box)
• During the development of the collections:

o Creation of patterns and technical sheets

o Development of prototypes, suggestion of technical solutions

o Manufacturing of the PPS for approval before going into production

• Identify the right threads / needles according to the work to be done

• Manage the stock of threads

• Ensure compliance with safety instructions, and good ergonomic practices

• Prepare, adjust, and maintain machines

• Help load and unload merchandise according to the needs of the workshop
