This role drives the organization’s marketing vision, strategy, and execution across all channels. This leadership role oversees and actively contributes to digital marketing, creative direction, business development initiatives, sponsorships, RFPs/RFQs, employer branding, and communications. The Marketing Lead will guide the marketing team, a Senior Graphic Designer, Digital Marketing Specialist, and a Marketing Coordinator to deliver measurable growth, elevate brand presence, and support organizational objectives through strategic campaigns, content creation, and stakeholder engagement.
Reporting into the CEO and working directly with Sales Leaders, this position provides visionary leadership to guide cross-departmental marketing efforts and organizational growth priorities. This is a candidate who has had progressive marketing experience into a leadership role. This requires a balance of strategic and creative insight, analytical thinking, and strong leadership to align marketing initiatives with business goals and support the company’s broader strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and execute the company’s overall marketing and brand strategy. This candidate will be able to analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive data to inform strategy.
Digital Marketing – Social Media & Website Management
- Oversee digital marketing, social media, and website performance.
- Develop and execute data-driven content and digital marketing strategies.
- Oversee photography, video, and multimedia content creation.
- Manage community engagement across all social media channels.
- Develop, implement, and optimize social media strategies to increase engagement and brand visibility. Develop and execute data-driven content and digital marketing strategies.

- Maintain and manage the social media content calendar.
- Track and report on social media and web performance metrics.

Business Development & Sponsorships- Drive business development and sponsorship initiatives to support sales growth.
- Develop marketing strategies to support lead generation and client acquisition.
- Coordinate sponsorships and partnership engagements to enhance brand visibility.
- Plan and produce campaigns aligned with sales goals.
- Manage advertising and promotional opportunities to support business development.
- Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce or Monday.com , ZoomInfo) to execute segmented outreach and targeting.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to align marketing with the business development cycle.
RFPs, RFQs & Bids
- Manage RFPs, RFQs, and bid submissions with cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of RFP, RFQ, and bid submissions.
- Creation of a gallery for RFP’s and standardize graphics, templates, company description to align to our value proposition.
Market Insight
- To identify emerging trends, market opportunity or risks, and partnership opportunities.
- Analyze market and competitor data to identify growth areas and differentiators.
- Research and test new marketing technologies and methodologies.
- Gather client insights to refine marketing and sales targeting strategies.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts to guide continuous improvement.
Internal Communications
- Oversee internal communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across company and departments.
- Partner with People & Culture to align external brand reputation with internal culture and values.
- Create compelling content that showcases the employee experience, company culture, and community impact across digital channels and campaigns.
- Oversee internal communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across departments and teams.
- Support the creation of internal newsletters, leadership communications, and company announcements.
- Strengthen employee engagement through storytelling, recognition programs, and branded internal initiatives.
- Manage brand consistency across all internal and external touchpoints, ensuring tone, design, and messaging reflect company values.
- Develop and execute an employer branding strategy that positions the company as an employer of choice.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in B2B marketing, proposal management (RFP/RFQ), and business development support.
- Strong content writing skills for proposal writing and social media content.
- Having worked in the construction, property management, and facility services industry is an asset.
- Having worked in the professional services industry are an asset.
- Expertise in digital marketing, content writing, and strategy.
- Strong experience with social media management tools (Later, Meta Business Suite, analytics platforms).
- Proficiency in CRM’s, ZoomInfo, Mailchimp (or equivalent tools).
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Experience building and executing employer branding and internal communication programs.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.
- Skilled in developing and tracking KPIs to measure marketing ROI and impact.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal qualities with a focus on mentorship and team growth
