As a Senior AI Artist, you will use AI-assisted workflows in day-to-day game art production. This role is primarily a production artist position focused on creating high-quality, game-ready assets while helping internal and contract art teams adopt AI as a practical creative tool.
You will use established AI tools alongside traditional digital art methods to produce icons, illustrations, concepts and props that meet defined visual style and quality standards. Working closely with the Art Lead and Game Director, you will help demonstrate how AI can enhance artistic workflows, improve iteration speed, and expand creative capacity across the team.
This is a foundational role contributing to an emerging discipline within Kabam, establishing sustainable, artist-driven AI workflows that support production while maintaining artistic ownership and craft. Technical AI development and tool creation are supported by Kabam’s central Data and AI teams; this role focuses on the creative application and production use of those tools.

###You can expect to be responsible for:
Primary Purpose
- Deliver high-quality, production-ready game assets using AI-assisted workflows
Integrate AI tools into everyday art production to increase efficiency and creative output. - Help artists incorporate AI into their own creative processes through collaboration and example.
- Maintain strong visual consistency and quality aligned with project art direction.
- Contribute to establishing best practices for AI-assisted art production at Kabam.
Key Accountabilities
- Create production-ready assets including icons, characters, and props using a hybrid workflow of sketching, AI generation, compositing, and digital art techniques.
- Generating prompts that create consistent results matching the game’s style.
- Ensure assets meet gameplay, technical, and stylistic requirements for implementation.
- Demonstrate practical AI-assisted workflows through hands-on production work.
- Support artists in incorporating AI into their existing creative processes.
- Promote responsible, collaborative use of AI that enhances artistic craftsmanship.
- Collaborate to improve Kabam’s internal AI tools and suggest the use of other commercial AI tools.
- Maintain consistency with established visual style and brand standards.
- Refine and polish AI outputs using traditional art techniques to meet production quality bars.
- Help document practical workflows and emerging best practices for AI-assisted art production.
###Your background includes:
Qualifications
- Strong experience creating digital game art assets such as icons, characters, props, or environments.
- Experience with AI workflows with tools (such as ComfyUI).
- Hands-on experience using AI image-generation tools (e.g., Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway, or similar).
- Proficiency with digital art tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Blender.
- Experience combining AI outputs with traditional art techniques to achieve production quality.
- Strong understanding of visual style, art direction, and quality standards in games.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Experience
- 3–6 years of professional experience in game art production or digital illustration.
- Experience contributing art assets to shipped or live titles.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools within creative or production workflows.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (art, design, engineering).
