Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH) is a patient-centred primary care hospital that has been established in Alexandria, Ontario for 60 years. HGMH provides acute care, 24-hour emergency services, outpatient services and rehabilitation to over 41,000 residents every year. Position Purpose

Perform General Radiography procedures as per departmental protocols that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to aid in the patient diagnosis. Observe and care for patient throughout examinations to ensure patient safety and comfort. Complete quality control checks on X-ray equipment to ensure proper operation. Perform clerical duties including registration, order entry, and completion of exam in RIS.

Requirements

• Current registration with CMRITO
• Membership with the CAMRT/ OAMRS preferred
• Current certificate in BCLS
• Strong computer skills including a working knowledge of RIS software including PACS
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other team members
• Available as needed for all shifts including on-call, relief for vacation, etc.
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Bilingualism preferred (English/ French) – to be tested
• Proof of double COVID vaccination required prior to interview.
