About The Role We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative leader to join our team as Manager, Technical Accounting and Statutory Compliance. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the organization’s technical accounting functions and global statutory compliance. You will ensure the accurate application of IFRS and local GAAP standards, support the preparation of statutory financial statements and regulatory filings, and contribute to the integrity of financial reporting processes. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration and support for audits and regulatory reviews across multiple legal entities.

What You’ll Do

  • Research, interpret, and document accounting positions in accordance with IFRS.
  • Draft and maintain technical accounting memos, working closely with leadership on complex transactions (business combinations, leases, restructuring).
  • Support the implementation of new accounting standards and corporate policies.
  • Prepare and support quarterly financial certifications and internal reporting packages.
  • Support preparation and review of statutory financial statements for global legal entities.
  • Ensure accurate IFRS-to-local GAAP conversions in coordination with external advisors.
  • Prepare statutory entries in SAP, including intercompany and structural transactions.
  • Collaborate with Tax, Legal, and Operations teams to resolve accounting issues.
  • Assist in standardizing and improving statutory reporting and compliance processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
  • Experience preparing or supporting statutory financial statements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or CA designation preferred.
  • Public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred).
  • Familiarity with SAP and OneStream or similar consolidation reporting software.
  • Exposure to regulatory filings and multinational operations is desirable.
  • Education: College/University degree preferred.

Current Location : Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $99,200 - $136,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
