Insurance Underwriting Analyst Document Intelligence & Risk Evaluation
Analyze underwriting documents, risk profiles, and structured insurance reports to design high-quality analytical tasks and evaluation frameworks.
Contribute to building rigorous benchmarking systems that assess reasoning accuracy across real-world underwriting decision data.
$50 per hour | ~15 20 hrs per week | Remote
Key Responsibilities
Review underwriting documents such as risk assessments, policy summaries, and insurance application data Extract structured insights from financial, demographic, and risk-related datasets Design grounded analytical tasks with clearly defined, verifiable outputs Develop objective rubrics to evaluate accuracy in risk interpretation and decision logic Ensure precision and consistency in task construction for benchmarking evaluation systems Refine frameworks used to assess structured reasoning in underwriting scenarios
Core Requirements
Strong understanding of insurance underwriting principles or risk assessment workflows Ability to interpret structured financial and risk-related documentation Experience working with policy data, claims evaluation, or actuarial-style reporting Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and logical consistency Ability to define clear, objective evaluation standards for structured tasks Strong written communication for precise documentation and structured outputs
Additional Strengths
Exposure to insurance operations, actuarial analysis, or credit/risk evaluation Familiarity with financial modeling or probabilistic risk assessment concepts Experience in audit, compliance, or structured review environments
