About this opportunity: We are looking for an IS Services Summer Student to work in the Information Services Department for a term of 4 months, starting in May 2026. This role will support the company with assisting and troubleshooting for a variety of business units.

The IS Operations team is looking for an enterprising, diligent, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills to support the business by providing high-quality customer service to various departments within the company.

This position is based in-person, in our downtown Calgary office.

What you’ll be doing:

• You will be providing functional support to employees in areas such as configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software and peripheral devices
• You will be creating end-user documentation and facilitating corporate learning for the enterprise information management tools
• You will be collaborating with various operating units to assist with identification of business requirements and selection of applicable enterprise information tool
• You will be diagnosing and resolving problems associated with software and operating systems; determine the source of issues and classify them based on priority level and urgency
• You will be documenting incidents in the ticket management system and escalate issues to the IS team, as required
• You will be responsible for setting up mobile devices and supporting audio/visual equipment
• You will participate in small IT projects and process improvement initiatives

Who you are:

• You are currently enrolled in an Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Security, or related program
• You are a motivated, hard-working, self-starter with a desire to learn and make an impact in a leading Oil and Gas company
• You are confident in your written and verbal communication skills
• You are able to effectively work in a team environment

To be eligible for a Paramount Resources student position, you must meet the following requirements:

• You are currently enrolled at one of the following post-secondary institutions: SAIT, University of Calgary, Mount Royal University, University of Alberta, or Bow Valley College
• You are available to work the full duration of the work term
• You are currently residing in Calgary or willing to relocate for your work term
• You are legally entitled to work in Canada, without restriction by way of one of the following:
• Canadian Citizenship
• Permanent Residency
• Valid work permit
