Role: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Location: Saskatoon
Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of all Accounts Payable transactions. The Accounts Payable Coordinator plays a critical function in maintaining strong vendor relationships by ensuring timely payments, accurate invoice posting, effective communication, and adherence to internal controls. This position also supports month-end close activities and the maintenance of accurate financial records within SAP, while managing high transaction volumes with strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities As the Accounts Payable Coordinator you will:
- Process weekly pay runs and issue vendor remittances.
- Post invoices promptly and accurately, including buses, chassis, freight, warranty, expenses, and recurring payments.
- Manage the AP inbox and respond to vendor and internal inquiries professionally.
- Maintain accurate documentation by scanning and attaching records in SAP.
- Coordinate goods return credits with SCM and ensure proper posting.
- Manage PO Bot exceptions, Action Centre items, and PO discrepancies, ensuring accurate 3‑way matching.
- Set up and maintain vendor accounts, including EFT/ACH information, and complete vendor credit applications.
- Support month-end close by preparing accruals, reconciling vendor statements, and completing Braun/Demers reconciliations.
- Run vendor aging reports, email statements, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Self-assess and remit PST and GST as required.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, approval limits, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within AP processes.
Qualifications As the Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will have:
- Diploma or post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred).
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Experience managing high-volume invoice processing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Professional, customer-service-oriented approach with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Adaptability and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
