About the Role

This role is bigger than one brand. NotLimited is a Toronto-based marketing and culture strategy agency working across diverse industries. As Marketing Specialist, you'll support day-to-day execution across our full client portfolio—including Silent H, an upscale Mexican restaurant on King Street West; Aitch, the late-night cocktail lounge and speakeasy tucked beneath it; and Coterie Brands, a Canadian cannabis company built around community, culture, and elevated product experiences.

You'll work directly with the NotLimited team on content, paid media, campaigns, and event promotion across all three brands — each with its own voice, audience, and energy.

What You'll Do

Content & Social

Plan, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms with a sharp eye for aesthetics, timing, and engagement Monitor comments, DMs, and community interactions — staying responsive and on-brand across every channel Contribute creative concepts for campaigns, content formats, activations, and audience engagement strategies Shoot and edit short-form video content for Reels and TikTok using DaVinci Resolve or similar tools

Paid Media & Performance

Assist with Meta ad campaign setup, optimization, and audience management across client accounts Pull and compile performance data from Meta Business Suite and other platforms into clear, actionable reports Support A/B testing of ad creative, copy, and targeting to continuously improve results Track key metrics across paid and organic channels and flag insights to senior team members

Email Marketing

Help plan, write, design, and execute email campaigns and newsletters using Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar platforms Assist with list segmentation, audience management, and campaign performance analysis Write compelling subject lines and body copy that reflect each brand's unique tone

Influencer & Partnership Marketing

Coordinate influencer outreach, gifting, and partnership activations aligned with each brand's identity Track deliverables, manage timelines, and compile performance data from influencer campaigns

Project & Creative Coordination

Coordinate creative teams and freelancers, managing workflow software, shared calendars, and project timelines Make design edits and updates using Adobe Suite or Figma Assist in building and maintaining content calendars across all client accounts Support event marketing logistics, including promotional planning, on-site content capture, and post-event reporting

Strategy & Research

Conduct competitor research and social listening to surface trends, opportunities, and creative inspiration Contribute to brand audits, campaign briefs, and strategy decks Assist with SEO-informed blog content development and website copy updates

What We're Looking For

1–2 years of experience in marketing, social media, or a related field (agency experience is a strong plus) Strong written communication skills with a genuine feel for brand voice, tone, and audience Hands-on familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Later, or similar scheduling and ad management tools Experience with email platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple brands, tasks, and deadlines without dropping the ball Self-starter who takes initiative and doesn't need to be micromanaged Passion for culture, hospitality, nightlife, food, or lifestyle brands is a genuine advantage

Nice to Have

Knowledge of SEO fundamentals, blog strategy, and on-page optimization

Web development or web design experience (even basic HTML/CSS goes a long way) Videography and photography skills — you can frame a shot and know what looks good on camera Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve or a comparable video editing tool Understanding of Canadian Cannabis Act regulations as they apply to digital marketing
