About the role
We are looking for a Revenue Manager for our Brampton location. Reporting to the Director, Business Performance and Analysis, this position is responsible for developing strategies for profitable revenue growth across our box plant & retail division portfolio working closely with the Sales department to provide actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize revenue and profitability in collaboration with Sales Department
- Manage & develop direct report(s) setting expectations, reviewing & monitoring performance
- In partnership with the Finance team, conduct margin analysis to draw actionable insights at both customer and product level
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and demand patterns to identify revenue opportunities.
- Use demand forecasting tools and models to predict future revenue trends and adjust strategies accordingly based on product level capacity by plant
- Maintain and Optimize Pricing Guidelines across Product Types & Order Quantities
- Present project/item pricing for RFP on ad hoc basis to management for review & sign-off
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of regular sales reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Owning resolution of discrepancies between actual vs estimate reports
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide insights into sales performance and revenue metrics
- Develop & maintain up to date standard operating procedures relevant to the Revenue Management Team
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- CPA Designation Preferred
- Minimum 5 Years Experience in revenue management, pricing analysis, or a similar role.
- Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in a related discipline or equivalent training
- Attention to Detail & Accuracy
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong mathematical and accounting skills, and capable of understanding vol/mix/rate variances
- Advanced analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills
- Mastered Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
