We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager who takes that seriously. Someone who leads by example, builds strong teams, and knows what operational excellence actually looks like in practice. This is a permanent, full-time position based across multiple Lower Mainland facilities. Due to the nature of maintenance leadership, the Maintenance Manager is expected to provide after-hours support and respond to critical incidents, equipment failures, or operational emergencies as needed.

What You Will Do:
- Lead all maintenance operations across all buildings and shifts, providing direct leadership to Supervisors and trades while ensuring consistent execution and safe work practices.
- Oversee the performance, training, and development of all maintenance staff and on-site contractors, including succession planning for key roles within the team.
- Drive preventative maintenance execution, CMMS adoption, and documentation quality while monitoring and reporting on key maintenance KPIs including downtime, PM compliance, and backlog health.
- Lead root cause analysis on significant events, coordinate equipment installations and shutdown planning, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
- Uphold a strong safety culture by ensuring all team members adhere to occupational health and safety legislation, cGMP standards, and company policies. This includes conducting audits with safety authorities and regulatory inspectors as required.
- Participate in budgeting, track departmental spending, and communicate capital and capacity needs to senior leadership while partnering with inventory and reliability functions to ensure parts readiness.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring proactive communication and collaboration across the organization.
- Champion Maintenance SOP development and training.
What You Bring:
- Red Seal Trade Qualified (TQ) Millwright certification (Interprovincial) with 5+ years of experience in repairs and maintenance in a packaging or manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical background with solid troubleshooting skills and knowledge of compressed air, vacuum pumps, and HVAC equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and communicate effectively with a team.
- GMP knowledge and experience working in a regulated environment. Forklift certification is an asset.
- Physically capable of performing the demands of the role including lifting up to 50 lbs, with a proactive safety conscious and team focused attitude.
