Description
As a Pharmacy Director, you will play a key leadership role in our Canadian Health and Benefits community of Subject Matter Experts.
You will lead large, highly visible client engagements. You will drive the strategy and grow relationships with current clients, as well as participate in prospecting opportunities with new clients. You will serve as a key voice to the marketplace of one of the world’s leading HR consulting firms and have the ability to contribute to the evolution of pharmacy and broader health care delivery in Canada. You will grow our solutions portfolio with a focus on driving client value and revenue.
You will be responsible and have oversight on the consulting we deliver for a wide variety of complex projects related to Pharmacy benefits. You will also be responsible to grow the revenue of our Pharmacy and services, ensuring overall client satisfaction and profitability. This involves coaching and mentoring a team of Pharmacy practitioners and developing strategies to ensure that our lead consultants are providing best-in-class advice in this area. In addition, you will serve as the lead Pharmacy consultant and/or strategic advisor on our most complex client engagements. You will be also responsible to actively cultivate new business and sales opportunities.
As a subject matter expert, you will regularly interact with other experts and consultants to develop new intellectual capital, create client deliverables, develop strategies to address clients’ business objectives and contribute to our overall Heath & Benefit business strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a trusted advisor relationship with client/prospect contacts and provide consistent, superior relationship management
- Serve as a senior Pharmacy strategist on projects, ensuring it aligns with the broader benefits and total rewards strategy
- Building relationship with internal and external resources to maximize the penetration of key target accounts
- Leveraging existing market knowledge and contacts to expand relationships and create new business opportunities for WTW
- Participating in prospecting opportunities with new clients as part of a broader team
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell new products and services
- Coordinate and effectively communicate with other consultants serving as the primary and/or daily contacts to clients and program carriers and vendors on delivery of services
- Stay abreast of carrier and vendor capabilities in the Pharmacy landscape
- Drive and contribute to the development of new IC and consulting tools and approaches aligned with broader Health & Benefits strategy
- Work with the Canadian Health & Benefits team and other Pharmacy consultants in Canada and the US to shape and execute on the business strategy
- Mentor and develop Pharmacy practitioners
- Coordinate with teams and plan for execution of Pharmacy-specific client engagements, ensuring the progress of the team against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards
- Develop statements of work, project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams

Qualifications
Requirements
- 15+ years progressive experience and success in delivering Pharmacy or related health and group benefits consulting services to large and mid-sized clients, preferably gained in a consulting environment, health and group benefits carrier, or other allied health professions
- Proven ability to generate revenue
- Track record of success in managing and growing client relationships
- An executive presence with polished and well developed communication skills
- Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization
- Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget
- Strong collaboration skills and openness to continuous improvement
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Life and Health license required within 180 days of joining
- Availability to travel on as needed basis
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred but not required
