Role Description

We’re looking for a creative, strategic Content Creator + Social Media Manager who knows how to generate brand-aligned ideas, turn those ideas into scroll-stopping content - and manage the content once it’s live. If you love to create stunning and engaging content (including short-form), live and breathe storytelling, energize online communities, and understand how content fits into a bigger social strategy, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Create (and/or supporting) marketing strategies Create and edit graphics and short-form videos (i.e. reels, shorts) Plan, schedule, and manage social media content calendars Turn briefs, trends, and ideas into engaging content Write captions, hooks, and CTAs that drive engagement Monitor performance and adjust content based on insights Stay on top of trends, sounds, and platform updates Engage with audiences (comments, DMs) where required Adapt content to different brand voices and audiences Collaborate with internal team members on strategy and direction as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in content creation and short-form video content (reels required) Experience in social media management for brands or clients Strong video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Descript, etc.)

Solid understanding of content performance and platform algorithms

Ability to balance creative execution with strategic thinking Highly organized with strong attention to detail Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment

Bonus Points

Experience working within an agency or with multiple clients Familiarity with scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, etc.)

Advanced analytics/reporting experience

Copywriting skills for high-performing hooks and captions

Please note: this is a subcontractor position, and hours will vary dependent on client needs.
